I have been working in the IT sector for over 15 years. I follow digital projects throughout their entire life cycle, connecting business objectives and technical teams: my engineering training and developer background allow me to turn requirements into solutions that can actually be built.
Profile
I am a computer engineer, Cybersecurity curriculum, with over 15 years of experience in the IT sector. Today I mainly deal with the management of digital projects: I gather and analyse needs, translate them into requirements and tasks, coordinate the people involved and follow the project through to release and subsequent support.
I come from full stack development, and this changes the way I run a project: I am not a purely managerial Project Manager. I can talk directly with developers, system administrators, designers, suppliers and company contacts, get into the substance of technical choices and identify critical issues in good time.
As part of my collaborations with Atomic Consulting and Reverse Studio, I have followed and coordinated projects for organisations operating, among others, in the university, healthcare, public, corporate and non-profit sectors, also dealing with security, infrastructure and evolutionary maintenance.
I designed and developed MeriPac Suite, a suite of online management systems, and I teach computer subjects at a secondary school in Rome: two experiences that taught me to take a product from the idea to daily use and to make complex concepts clear.

Method
Every project follows the same path, from the first requirement to support after release. Knowing the technical work of each phase allows me to anticipate problems, instead of discovering them at the end of the project.
Phase 1 Understand
I listen to the objective and the context: what is really needed, by whom and why.
I assess technical feasibility, constraints and impact on existing systems.
I translate the need into clear, verifiable requirements, shared with the client.
Phase 2 Organise and build
I break the work down into tasks, set priorities and plan the phases.
I align the technical team, designers, suppliers and company contacts.
I follow development closely and, when needed, contribute directly.
Phase 3 Deliver and evolve
I check and validate the result against the requirements before release.
I plan and coordinate the go-live, reducing risks.
I follow the project after release and gather new requirements.
Evolution reopens the cycle: new requirements start again from the first step, with the same method.

Teaching
I teach Computer Science, TPSIT and Systems and Networks, with teaching focused on lab work, software design, networks, security and tutoring of FSL (formerly PCTO) projects.
Teaching is part of my professional identity and trains a skill I bring to every project: explaining clearly what is complex, to people with different backgrounds.
